Often times at work I feel like such a failure. As a graphic designer with demanding clients, you have very little time to think. Hours are like days and minutes are like hours. I wish that I was prepared for this while attaining my degree. I can remember having weeks to finish one project. One can only dream now. I have to remind myself that I’m still relatively new to the field or “green” as my boss would say and that I’m not going to be amazing right off the bat. It just gets hard when I’m constantly surrounded by people that are twenty or more years in the field. I guess I’m to eager to fast track success. I’m 10x harder on myself than my boss is and for everyone that tells me I’m pretty good; I see room for improvement.
 
But hey you can’t dwell on the bad days you just have to push through them. I try to see everyday as a new day. A new opportunity to “win.” Who cares if yesterday wasn’t as great, you get to start all over tomorrow. That’s the motto I try and live by. Always plan to win and remember that every now and then its ok to look like a bum.
