I am currently sitting in my office and me not knowing how to exactly stop working, I decided to upload a few pics and such for the blog. These are from a recent shoot I did with Kennedy. Her mom asked me to shoot a few shots for some promo she needed. I was thrilled but also very tired and the impending doom that is southern heat was not something I was looking forward to. I’d asked everyone to start as early as possible but I was well aware that we were gonna be late lol so I wasn’t annoyed by it really. I just knew we were all gonna be sweating. Her mom had to keep dabbing her face–poor thing. I tried moving as quickly as possible while still getting the shot. I’m trying to work on shooting less frames. Its becoming a bother to look at hundreds of photographs for quick shoots.
There wasn’t much to use as far as location and I didn’t really have time to location scout. We came up with this spot in about 5 minutes or so but I think it provided a great backdrop. I used natural light and a 50mm f/1.8D AF NIKKOR lens. It works great for portraits. I’m still getting the hang of using manual focus so I needed to practice.
