She is such a precious adorable baby! I absolutely love shooting mothers and babies. Mainly because I love to show emotional connections with people when I shoot and what better opportunity than mothers and children.

I had such a great time shooting Joyce. She was great to work with. She’d contacted me early for birthday portraits. I was thrilled because I’d just gotten my new camera and was itching to test it out. We got up early to make great use of the light but unfortunately the cold came along with it. We’ve been having some crazy weather here in Memphis. Last weekend it was bright and sunny as 65 degrees but the next weekend for us it was down to 45 degrees. I’m so grateful that Joyce was such a great sport about being in the cold. And as always I forgot my gloves.

 

I worked really hard with edits because I wanted to get her pictures back before Christmas and thankfully was able to pull it off.  The prints turned out great. I worked from home the day they came just to make sure to catch UPS and I was able to deliver them during her lunch break. We had amazing time that day lol. Ready for the next shoot now!

I took these few photos during a video shoot. I recently finished up a video shoot with my good friend, RickeyT. This was my first video shoot and I was a bit nervous up until we actually started shooting. I wasn’t quite sure how everything would work out but I think its going to turn out great! We shot in Memphis, TN for two days. The first day we shot all the scenes with Rickey and came back to shoot Angela’s scenes. The challenge is gonna come from editing everything together. I’m more than confident I have enough footage to work with to get a great result. The only sad part is that I’m going home for Thanksgiving an the holidays my throw production time off. I’m aiming to have everything ready by the 1st hopefully. I’m super excited.
